Road to Dithaba Game Lodge

There are daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Kimberley
which are provided by two of South African Airways’ connector services - South
African Express Airways and South African Airlink. Flights into Kimberley make
use of comfortable and reliable 50-seater De Havilland Dash twin prop and
29-seater Jetstream twin prop aeroplanes. Flight bookings can be made through
your travel agent or directly with the airlines.

The staff at Dithaba Game Lodge will, if required, arrange a transfer for foreign
guests by road from airports in Kimberley, Upington and Johannesburg.

To travel by road from Johannesburg to Dithaba Game Lodge, take the N14
to Kuruman, then follow the R31 to Hotazel. Some 50 km out of Kuruman, turn
right and follow the road to Severne. Dithaba Game Lodge is 50 km from the
Severne turnoff on the left hand side of the road.

To travel by road from Cape Town to Dithaba Game Lodge, follow the N1 to
Three Sisters, then the N12 to Kimberley. Once you get to Kimberley you have
to follow the R31 to Kuruman. Some 50 km out of Kuruman, turn right and follow
the road to Severne. Dithaba Game Lodge is 50 km from the Severn turnoff
on the left hand side of the road.

The last 50 km of road to Dithaba Game Lodge is untarred and care should
be taken when driving on this road. The recommended speed for self-drivers
on gravel is 80 km/h.
