Dithaba Game Lodge is situated on the fringes of the south-eastern Kalahari between Kuruman and Botswana. As this area is prone to temperature extremes in winter (June - August) and summer (November - February), we recommend that you pack the following:

Winter - long pants, warm jersey or sweater, wind jacket, gloves, balaclava, scarf, comfortable hiking boots, lip-ice and lotion for a dry skin.

Summer - comfortable cotton clothes, wide-rimmed hat, sweater for crispy nights, comfortable hiking boots, lip-ice, lotion for a dry skin, sunscreen lotion with a factor of at least fifteen and lozenges for a dry throat.

Also remember to pack your binoculars, camera and enough spools of film.
